The McKeesport Hospital Foundation’s 42nd annual Dr. Frank R. Bondi Invitational came to a close Monday night.
The four-day event, which took place at several venues across the Mon Valley and Greater Pittsburgh Area, was held to raise money for the UPMC McKeesport-based initiatives and funds that the hospital foundation supports, finances or manages.
MHF is a nonprofit, community-based corporation that builds an endowment to benefit and provide funding support for health-related charitable entities located in the communities served by UPMC Mc-Keesport, which include McKeesport, White Oak, Dravosburg, North and South Versailles, Duquesne, West Mifflin, Braddock, East McKeesport, Clairton, Glassport, Port Vue, Liberty, Lincoln, North Huntingdon and Elizabeth.
This year, the event raised money for the “Transitions of Care Co-Pay Fund” and the “Many Faces of Recovery Fund,” according to MHF Development Director Eliana Latterman.
