Timlin nets four goals in Bearcats’ win over EF

Prior to the start of the season, Bentworth girls soccer coach Tyler Hamstra approached athletic director Brian Malecki regarding his team’s nonsection schedule.
In order to further prepare for play in Section 2-A, Hamstra requested scheduling as many Class 3A tri-county teams as possible.
“Those are the teams we have to play against,” Hamstra said.
The veteran coach, who led Bentworth to the WPIAL championship game last season, got his wish as the Bearcats were given the opportunity to start the season by facing 3A foes such as Uniontown, Ringgold and Elizabeth Forward.
