Rib Fest has British flavor

“Music, good food, barbecue sauce, community and celebrating hardworking men and women.”
That’s what Roberta Williams, one of the chefs cooking at the Robbie’s Ribs booth at McKeesport Rib Fest said “Labor Day weekend is all about.”
The Renzie Rib Fest and the final leg of the McKeesport Summer Concert Series kicked off Friday at Renziehausen Park, and it came with a British Invasion — at least in a manner of speaking.
The opening-night festivities of the four-day festival featured a lively, colorful performance by Beatlemania Magic, a Beatles tribute band that travels all over the world with its members dressed up in costume to look like John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr in the early 1960s.
