For those who have watched Cochise Ryan compete, it’s crystal clear the type of elite athlete he can be.
Whether it’s on the basketball court or on the football field, the California senior has all the intangibles necessary to take over a game.
He put that on full display in the Trojans’ 32-27 victory over Beth-Center last week.
Ryan did it all. He threw for over 100 yards in his first start at quarterback, rushed for 86 yards and touchdown runs of 1, 4 and 12 yards, and intercepted a pair of passes on defense.
For his performance last week, Ryan has been named the Mon Valley Independent-BeeGraphix Gridiron Player of the Week.
