Jaguars aim to avenge defeat in WPIAL title game

The Thomas Jefferson volleyball team doesn’t have to search far for motivation. In fact, that motivation came last November, and has stuck with the team ever since.
The stink of defeat to Knoch in the WPIAL 3A championship still lingers in the minds of each and every returning Jaguars player. Avenging that loss sits firmly atop the list of goals for this squad.
“I think honestly just the feeling of losing is what you remember most because it was just so hard and the frustration, the whole team felt that,” said senior setter Abby Chalovich.
“The coaches use that as motivation a lot, of how we got that far last year and how we should make it that far again.”
