Child abuse charged in Donora

A Donora woman is behind bars after allegedly abusing her 7-year-old step-child.
Shinice Hill, 22, of Chestnut Street is charged with aggravated assault of a victim less than 13 years old, endangering the welfare of children and neglect of care of a dependent person.
Donora police were assigned to the case Thursday after receiving a report from a children’s advocacy center.
The report said the child was recently taken to an area hospital for burns on the hands and feet, ligature marks on their wrists and severe bruising in the shape of one inch square marks in various locations, an affidavit of probable cause states.
