Fire and EMS crews, police and a hazmat crew were dispatched to the 2300 block of Douglas Run Road in Elizabeth Township shortly after 9:30 p.m. Thursday after a tractor-trailer rolled over a hillside and spilled a load of unknown material.

First responders on scene reported 4,800 gallons of “unknown material,” spilled out of the truck and into the Youghigheny River.

At least one person was trapped inside the truck, according to Allegheny County 911.

Around 10:30 p.m., first responders reported that the tri-axel truck overturned near a parcel of landed owned by the Huntley & Huntley oil and gas exploration company.
