Hope Lucille Steen – Struthers, Ohio, formerly of Monessen, Dunlevy and Belle Vernon

Hope Lucille Steen, 96, of Struthers, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, in Salem North Healthcare Center, Salem, Ohio. A daughter of the late William and Eva Young Williamson, she was born in Pricedale on Feb. 3, 1923. Formerly of Monessen, Dunlevy, and Belle Vernon, Hope had been a resident of Boardman and Struthers, Ohio, since 2000. She was protestant by faith and a loving wife and dedicated homemaker. Hope had been formerly employed as a receptionist for Dr. John Beggs. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Patti Jo and Rod Yocum of Beaver Township, Ohio, Chrystal and Rick Wurm of Boardman, Ohio, and Kim and Robin Grant of Mentor, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mitch Steen, on Aug. 7, 1996; a sister, Jean Grant, in 2013; and two brothers, Robert and Jack Williamson. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com, 724-929-5300. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Glunt officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
