Ruby I. Escott – McKeesport

Ruby I. Escott, 88, of McKeesport, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019. She was born in Dravosburg on Sept. 1, 1930, and is the daughter of the late Robert and Clarissa Trostle Boyd and the wife of the late William S. Escott Jr. She is survived by her son, William S. (Dawn) Escott III of Jefferson Hills; daughter, Ruth Kornegay of Braselton, Ga.; brother, Robert Boyd of Fort Wayne, Ind.; five grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION & MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177, from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, in the funeral chapel with the Rev. William B. Meekins officiating. Burial will follow.
