Ruth Ora Bartolozzi – Roscoe

Ruth Ora Bartolozzi, 98, of Roscoe, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born in Roscoe on Aug. 9, 1921, she was the daughter of William and Frances Anderson Lilley. Ruth was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, where she worked as a mail carrier. She was a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church, Roscoe American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 801 and the Order of the Eastern Star Monessen Chapter No. 205. Ruth is survived by two nephews, Dale Lilley of Coal Center and Billy Lilley of Ohio; and dear friends and caretakers, Gloria Hartley, Rene Zdravecky, Barbara O’Savage and Debra Strychalski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jordan “Duke” Bartolozzi; and two brothers, Donald Lilley and Joseph “Ike” Dale Lilley. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, at MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019, with the Rev. Brian Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery. Eastern Star services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday evening in the funeral home.
