Elizabeth Forward Superintendent Dr. Todd E. Keruskin released a document Saturday answering “frequently asked questions” regarding a court injunction the district filed last week against its transportation provider PA Coach Lines.
In the document, which is available on EF’s website and Facebook page, Keruskin explains what a court injunction is, that he is unsure if there will be delays to the start of the school year and that the district is seeking transportation services from another company.
PA Coach Lines, based in McKeesport and Elizabeth, claims EF owes the company $1.1 million for past services and contends there is no contract with EF for the 2019-20 school year, despite the district’s claims that a contract was arranged and approved by the school board in October of 2018.
In the FAQ document, Keruskin states that “Elizabeth Forward School District has honored all financial obligations to Pennsylvania Coach Lines.”
