David L. Moskovitz, 58, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born on Aug. 2, 1960, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Nervin and Gloria Rosenstein Moskovitz. David grew up in Brownsville and graduated from Brownsville Area High School with the Class of 1978. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California University of Pennsylvania. He then attended Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing and graduated as a registered nurse. David was previously employed as a registered nurse with ESRD Network 4 and as a dialysis nurse. He attended St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. David is survived by his wife of 30 years, Barbara F. Novinsky Moskovitz; his brother, Jerry Moskovitz; brother-in-law, Stan “Bud” Novinsky and wife Diane; nephew, Nick Novinsky; very dear cousins, Larry Moskovitz and wife Anne, Bob Rosenstein; and several cousins of whom he thought dearly. Visitation and funeral services will be private for his immediate family. Private interment will be held at Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown. Family and friends will be cordially invited to attend a memorial Mass in celebration of David’s life at St. Sebastian R.C. Church in Belle Vernon, 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019.
