Changes in store for Elizabeth Township bus riders

Passengers who ride Port Authority of Allegheny County’s Y46 Elizabeth Flyer are set to see some schedule changes that will take effect Sept. 1.

Port Authority adjusts schedules four times per year, and this time the Y46, which passes through Elizabeth borough, Clairton, Jefferson Hills, Large, Pleasant Hills and West Mifflin before traveling into downtown Pittsburgh, is being affected.

The announcement, which was made Friday, will bring convieniences to some, and inconvieniences to others.

The Elizabeth borough bus stop, which is on Third Street under the Route 51 bridge, will remain unchanged.
