Annual MARC run/walk set

This year’s On Your MARC 5K Run/Walk is planned for early Saturday morning as part of this week’s four-day celebration of Monongahela’s 250th anniversary.
This will be the Monongahela Area Revitalization Corporation’s third 5K Run/Walk. The event is sponsored by Cox Market, which is celebrating its 70th year in business this month.
The race, formally named the “On Your MARC Cox Market presents the Best Yet 5K Run/Walk,” will begin and end at the Monongahela Aquatorium and wind through the neighborhoods of Monongahela and New Eagle.
Sign in is set for 7 a.m., and runners and walkers will start the race at 8 a.m.
