Alliance has huge plans for $1M state grant

A new building — with a to-be-determined resident — will soon pop up in the Alta Vista Business Park in Fallowfield Township.
The governor’s office recently announced $1 million in state funding to construct the building through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program.
Administered by the Office of the Budget, RACP projects are state-funded and designed to support the acquisition and construction of regional economic improvements.
The MVA, which is responsible for developing the industrial park, said the new building will be incorporated into Phase II of the park, which is being built on top of the hill overlooking the recent PennDOT improvements at the Bentleyville I-70 Interchange.
