James L. Koschak – Hutchinson

James L. Koschak, 70, of Hutchinson, died Saturday, July 27, 2019, in Hempfield Manor, Greensburg. He was born Aug. 16, 1948, in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late James and Mary Consavage Koschak. James was a veteran having served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. He was retired from U.S. Steel Clairton Works and was a lifetime member of the Hutchinson Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Ramona Downer Koschak; four sons, Brian and his wife Erin Watkins, Timothy Watkins of West Newton, Christopher and his wife Deena Watkins of Smithton, and James Koschak of Denton, Texas; a daughter, Rachael Castillo of Denton, Texas; five grandchildren, Makaylah, Addison, Brysen, Nova and Maci; three brothers, Andrew Koschak of Kentucky, Michael Koschak of West Newton, and Stephen Koschak of Greensburg; and a sister, Karlyn Greenwood of Belle Vernon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Koschak. A private burial was held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with military honors accorded by the U.S. Marines. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
