John Robert Bonneau – Portage, Mich.

John Robert Bonneau, 62, of Portage, Mich., died Tuesday, July 30, 2019, in his home. He was born Aug. 18, 1956, in Smith Center, Kan., a son of the late Leo and Bettie Staley Bonneau. John was a computer systems analyst and was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was also a distinguished member of the Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity. He is survived by his wife, Daryle Maser Bonneau; one son, Nicholas Bonneau of Portage, Mich.; two brothers, David Bonneau and his wife Debra Pederson of Kansas City and William Bonneau and his wife Mary of Omaha, Neb.; and one sister, Yvonne (Bonnie) Bonneau of Taos, N.M. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where a funeral service will be held at noon Friday, Aug. 2, 2019.
