John Robert Bonneau – Portage, Mich.

John Robert Bonneau, 62, of Portage, Mich., died Tuesday, July 30, 2019, in his home. He was born Aug. 18, 1956, in Smith Center, Kan., a son of the late Leo and Bettie Staley Bonneau. John was a computer systems analyst and was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was also a distinguished member of the Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity. He is survived by his wife, Daryle Maser Bonneau; one son, Nicholas Bonneau of Portage, Mich.; two brothers, David Bonneau and his wife Debra Pederson of Kansas City and William Bonneau and his wife Mary of Omaha, Neb.; and one sister, Yvonne (Bonnie) Bonneau of Taos, N.M. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where a funeral service will be held at noon Friday, Aug. 2, 2019. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery with military rites accorded by the U.S. Navy. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
