Tina Marie Smith-Bleich, a resident of Monessen, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019, in Pittsburgh after a lengthy illness. Ms. Bleich was born Nov. 1, 1957, in Charle- roi. She graduated from Monessen High School and was a member of the girls’ basketball team. After graduation, she moved to Camarillo, Calif., where she lived peacefully. She returned to the Mon Valley to be surrounded by family and friends in 2005. Tina was a kind-spirited woman who loved helping others and appreciated all the little gems in the world. She was a collector of antique and vintage treasures that she would share with family and friends. She was a compassionate soul and loved spending time with her great nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Tina is survived by her mother, Frances Y. Smith; her brothers, Alfred E. Smith of McKeesport and Peck L. Smith of Belle Vernon; and her sisters, Ethel M. Smith-Diffendal (James) of Bethel Park, Ruth D. Smith-Cheatham of Bethel Park, Iris R. Smith-Madison of Pittsburgh, Maria A. Smith-Braswell (Mack) of Maryland and Dyra L. Smith of Pittsburgh; and a special aunt, Dorothy Linton of Uniontown. In addition to her father, Albert Smith, Tina was also preceded in death by four brothers, Lawrence, Robert William, Al “Pee Wee” and Kim Smith. Friends and family will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 25 Brushton Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. A Celebration of Life Service with be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 2 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, P.O. Box 5, Charleroi, PA 15022.
