Mary Elizabeth Everly – Charleroi

Mary Elizabeth Everly, 84, of Charleroi, passed away on July 25, 2019 at the Jefferson Hospital. Mary was born in Crescent Heights on Dec. 1, 1934, the daughter of the late James and Olive Evans Payton. She was the wife of the late Richard Everly. Mary worked at Fox Grocery, Daisymaid and Monongahela Valley Hospital, she retired after 20 years. She loved her family, friends, going to bingo, cooking and shopping. Mary is survived by her four children, son, Richard (Debra) Everly, son, Keith (Debbie) Everly, daughter, Pamela (Everly) Newman and son, Bruce (Arlene) Everly; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Richard, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Everly Moore; grandson, Johnny Bruce Everly; brothers, Joseph and James Payton; and sister, Audrey Payton Borne. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. At Mary’s request private services along with private interment were conducted on Tuesday July 30 at the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc.
