A man who faces drug charges stemming from an alleged underage drinking party on Memorial Day in Rostraver Township waived his right to a preliminary hearing Monday.

Derek Michael Cesovski, 20, of Gilmore Avenue, Donora is scheduled for a probation without verdict hearing Oct. 1 on charges of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, intent to possess a controlled substance, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and purchasing/etc. alcoholic beverages by a minor.

Cesovski is one of seven people charged in connection with the large party that allegedly involved underage drinking in the 1400 block of  Rostraver Road.

Rostraver Township police said officers found approximately 30 people in the backyard of the home, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Cesovski was located inside with a backpack that he initially told police was not his, but later admitted to owning, the affidavit states.
