Blaine Hill festival nearing

The Blaine Hill Volunteer Fire Company is preparing for its annual community days festival.

Set for Aug. 9 and 10, the family-friendly event has something for everyone.

The two-day celebration will be held at the fire company at 409 Oxford Drive in Elizabeth. It will take place from 5 p.m. to midnight Aug. 9 and 3 p.m. to midnight Aug. 10. 

Admission is free and refreshments from several vendors will be available for purchase.
