Raymond J. Shedlock – Carroll Township

Raymond J. Shedlock, III, 46, of Carroll Township, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019, at his residence. Born in North Charleroi on Oct. 28, 1972, he was son of the late Raymond J. Shedlock II and the surviving Nancy Horn Shedlock. Raymond had a love for hunting, fishing, planting gardens with his friends and working on his cars. Ray was a member of the Black Diamond VFW for many years. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Helen Shedlock; maternal grandparents, George and Sara Horn; and by his uncle Jim. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Koree Shedlock of Monessen; grandson, Stephen Matinsky IV; special friends, Ryan, Travis, JJ, DT and Jenifer; as well as many other friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019. A blessing service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019, in the funeral home. Interment will take place in Mon Valley Memorial Park on August 10, 2019. Friends and family are invited to attend a luncheon, celebrating Ray’s life at the VFW Post 1409, 793 East Main St., Monongahela (Black Diamond) PA 15063, immediately following services in the cemetery.
