Motorists traveling in and out of McKeesport may encounter delays this week as a result of inspections that will take place on the Duquesne-McKeesport Bridge.
PennDOT District 11 has announced that inspection activities on the bridge, which carries Route 2114 (South Duquesne Boulevard) over the Monongahela River in Duquesne and McKeesport, will begin today, weather permitting.
Traffic shifts and lane narrowing will occur weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Aug. 14 as crews from AECOM conduct bridge inspection activities. A 10-foot side lane in each direction will be maintained on the bridge.
