Neil B. Cope, 46, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at his home. Born Oct. 11, 1972, in Atwater, Calif., he was the son of Brian T. Cope of Monessen and Michele Baron Cope of Belle Vernon. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Mr. Cope was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Mr. Cope worked for Belle Vernon Area School District as a school bus driver. Neil was a lifelong friend of our family, as Neil’s first job was with the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral home in the 1980s. Neil was always actively involved in public safety.  He was an active member of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department, currently serving as lieutenant, recording secretary and bingo chairman. He was a past member of Fayette City Fire Department and Monessen Fire Department No. 1 volunteer and later employed by Rostraver-West Newton EMS and was an EMT for more than 17 years and called bingo for numerous fire departments throughout the Valley. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins fan and was dance Poppy with his granddaughter, Samantha, at Betsy’s Dance Center. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Thomas Cope, to whom he was married for 23 years; son and daughter-in-law Ryan and Charlotte Fiem of Washington; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and John Morrison of Belle Vernon; daughter, Caitlin Bean of Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Nicole Cope of Rostraver Township; sister, Christie Cope Thompson of North Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Samantha Morrison, Sean Morrison, Mackenzie Morrison, Izabella Bean, Xavier Bean, Lilliana Bean; paternal grandmother, Betty Cope of Ft. Myers, Fla.; nephew, Aiden Thompson; niece, Halley Cope; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. The North Belle Vernon Fire Department will conduct services at 7 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations with the Rev. Michael J.
