During Monday’s meeting, White Oak Councilman Lou Bender revealed the borough’s plans for this year’s Community Day festivities.
“The fun begins at 11 a.m. Aug. 3 and will conclude with an awesome fireworks display from Pyrotecnico at dark,” he said.
The celebration will be held at Heritage Hill Park, Pavilion and Pool Complex on Victoria Drive.
“There will be swimming, music and games for everyone, including a Moon Walk, Nite Life DJs, train rides, pool races, chicken sandwiches, corn on the cob, hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, Italian ice, baked goods, crafts and raffles,” Bender said.
