Bridge closure and detour planned in Elizabeth

PennDOT District 11 announced  Monday that bridge replacement work on Lovedale Road (Route 2010) in Elizabeth Township and Lincoln borough will begin Wednesday, weather permitting.

Crews from Braddock-based Mele & Mele & Sons, Inc. will begin structure replacement work at 7 a.m. Wednesday on the Lovedale Road bridge, which is located between Scott Street and Mill Hill Road.  

To allow the work to occur, the roadway will close at the bridge location until the night of Aug. 16. All through traffic will be detoured.
