Michael S. Perry Sr., 86 of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019, in the VA Medical Center, Aspinwall. He was born July 23, 1932, in Brier Hill, son of Anthony Perry and Julia Holis Perry. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Mike was an avid hunter and especially enjoyed fly fishing. He enjoyed spending time in Tionesta and Florida. He loved to travel with his wife and go to the casino. He was a mentor to many people and the rock (patriarch) of his family. He will be sadly missed and loved by all who knew him. He was retired from U.S. Steel National Tube, McKeesport. He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie Delores Costa Perry; three children, Michelle Ann Perry Seroka and husband Donald P Seroka of Belle Vernon, Diane Perry Vargo and husband Herb Vargo II of Fayette City and Michael S. Perry Jr. and wife Julie Ann of Fayette City; grandchildren, Justin R. Battistone, Jill Marie Hosko and husband Bryan, Molly Rose Hartman, Mark Joseph Vincent and wife Amanda, Ramsey Michael Vargo, William John Perry and wife Tara, Michael Joseph Perry, Arlie Calderone and Brett Seroka and wife Gina; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Ryan Battistone, Deryk Thomas Hosko, Brylee Julianne Hosko, Brielle Alivia Vincent, Tanner Vincent, Briar Vimcent, Emma Renee Perry and Giovannah Marie Seroka. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Herbert Vargo III; three brothers, Anthony, John and Mitch Perry; and one sister, Frances Nemec. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City. www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Memorial services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Guy Provance officiating.
