Detectives from the Allegheny County Homicide Unit are investigating after a Pittsburgh man was shot to death on a McKeesport street Saturday evening.

McKeesport police and EMTs from McKeesport Ambulance Rescue Service were dispatched to the intersection of Beacon Street and Hazel Way at 7:53 p.m. Saturday after Allegheny County 911 received a call reporting that a man had been shot.

First responders found the man, later identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office as 21-year-old Delquay Lamont James of Pittsburgh’s North Side, beside a vacant house at 2001 Beacon St.

James suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Allegheny County Police Lt. Kenneth Ruckel.
