George Clement, 81, of Charleroi, died Thursday July 11, 2019, at Dunlevy Manor. Born in Charleroi on Sept. 18, 1937, he was the son of George and Beatrice Monack Clement. George was a United States Army veteran. He was retired from Corning Glass after 36 years of service. George was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, a member of the Knights of Columbus Father William D. Fries Council 956, Charleroi, and of the Charleroi Belgian Club. George is survived by his very good friends, Don and Barb Ulens of Charleroi. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019 at MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC. 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2019, at Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery Carroll Township. Military Honors accorded by the United States Army Honor Guard. The Knights of Columbus Council 956 will have services in the funeral home 7 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019.
