Dax Thomas State Farm got back on track Wednesday as they rolled over Edward Jones at Mechanic Street Playground in J. Budd Grebb Memorial Summer Basketball League girls action, 50-14.
State Farm was a well oiled machine in the second half as Taylor Rodriguez, Emma Seto, and Chloe Pordash led a balanced scoring line for State Farm with 14, 13, and 12 respectively.
Head coach Tom Rodriguez was pleased with the way his team distributed the scoring and how his underclassmen performed in the absence of his veteran players.
“The one thing I really need to do a better job at is developing all my players one through eleven, and you know, tonight they all played a ton and I’m liking what I see from my younger players especially, we’ll need them to step up the rest of the year.” said Rodriguez.
