Antoinette ‘Babe’ Sangermano – Monongahela

Antoinette “Babe” Sangermano, 83, of Monongahela, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019, in Washington Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1936, in Large, she was the daughter of John and Catherine Belcastro Esper. A 1954 graduate of Monongahela High School, Babe was a devoted homemaker to her children and her late husband, Herman and was Catholic by faith. Surviving are a son, Armand Sangermano of Monongahela; a daughter, Angela and husband Jeff Jackman of Summerfield, N.C.; two brothers, Jim and wife Darla Esper of Monongahela and Tony and wife Kim Esper of Frederick, Md.; a sister, Susan Rotolo of North Charleroi; and three grandchildren, Jeffrey and wife Lindsey Jackman and Nicole and Amanda Jackman, all of North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Patty Sangermano of Monongahela; along with many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Herman Sangermano, who died Jan. 14, 2008; a brother, John Esper; and two brothers-in-law, LeRoy Rotolo and John Sangermano. At Babe’s request there will be no funeral services. MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, was in charge of the arrangements.
