Mary Supernovich Turek, 72, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at home. She retired as an inside sales representative for Ductmate Industries Inc. in Monongahela. She was a devout member of St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church in Jefferson Hills. She enjoyed spending most of her time with her family members, as well as bowling, bingo and casinos. Born Jan. 8, 1947, in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Balko Supernovich and wife of the late Donald J. Turek Sr. She is survived by children, Amy L. (Jeffrey) Rhodes of Elizabeth Township, Donald J. Turek Jr. of West Elizabeth, and Dennis M. (Melissa) Turek of Sutersville; grandchildren, Hannah Marie and Noah William Rhodes and Sarah Mae, Donald J. III, Rayli, Hunter and Alexis Turek; sisters, Kathryn Ianno of Monongahela, Helen (Tom) Rapp of Monongahela, and Sheila (Ron) Derian of Munhall; brother-in-law, Joe Rostcheck; along with nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Charles Supernovich, Theresa Moree, Patricia Rostcheck, John Supernovich, George Supernovich and Joan Armstrong. Friends will be received at PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 N. Second Ave., Elizabeth, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019, and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2019. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2019, at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Bud Falkenhan officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2019, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Offer condolences at www.bekavacfuneralhome.com.
