Thomas J. Stickel – Connellsville, formerly of Monongahela

Funeral services were held for Thomas J. Stickel, 48, of Connellsville and formerly of Monongahela who died Tuesday, July 2, 2019, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville. Born May 6, 1971, in New Eagle, Tom was the son of Thomas C. and Betty J. Fereza Stickel of Connellsville. He was a 1989 graduate of Ringgold High School and in his spare time enjoyed reading and playing chess. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Tyler Stickel of Monongahela; his uncle, Frank and aunt, Marlene Fereza of Scenery Hill; aunt, Sue Ellen Baxter of Monongahela; and aunt, Dee Ann and uncle Bill Dzimiera of Monongahela; along with several cousins and especially will be missed by his loving dog, Brookie. Interment was held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township. The MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St. Monongahela, 724-258-6767, was in charge of the arrangements.
