Whitlock, Nusser lead Farmers past BeeGraphix, 103-75

Farmers Insurance improved to 2-1 on the season after a high-scoring 103-75 victory over winless BeeGraphix Wednesday night at California Middle School.

Devin Whitlock and Cam Nusser combined to score 75 points in the victory, pouring in 39 and 36 points, respectively. Whitlock added 16 rebounds and 10 assists to complete the triple-double. 

Head coach Dana Zajicek was pleased with his backcourt’s effort in the win.

“We just played well as a unit. They shot the ball well from the start of the game, they played really well and we need them to keep doing that if we want to be successful,” Zajicek said.
