Donora ready for final steps of EIP

By Mon Valley Independent

Donora council will hear a presentation this month on the final steps of the state’s Early Intervention Program.

Debbie Grass of Grass Root Solution is the consultant guiding the borough through the EIP process to help the borough avoid Act 47 state oversight.

Earlier this year, Grass gave council a copy of the management and operational review that examined every level of borough government and offered suggestions.

On either July 23 or 24 — a date will soon be finalized — council and the public will hear about the final steps in the process, which includes a multi-year plan and recommendations on how to implement it.
