Multiple Carroll Township residents complained at Tusday’s council meeting about rats running amok.
The rat problem has gotten worse with the demolition of a house located on Route 837 near Wall Street. Nick Chiprich said he catches three or four a week, and Lori Dudro feels as if her part of the township has been forgotten about.
“It is the same thing every time I come here, the same looks on the faces and the same answers.”
She said her friend’s grandchildren are afraid to play in the yard. Resident Maya Patch said she paid $80 to an exterminator for her home because of the situation and doesn’t want the rodents and snakes in her yard.
