Cook launching LSA Informational Tour

A state legislator has been calling for an audit of a grant organization in Washington County and next week he will speak publicly about his concerns.
State Rep. Bud Cook, R-West Pike Run Township, has been trying to call attention to the Washington County Local Share Account grant program since he was campaigning for re-election in November.
Local Share Account money comes from gaming revenues from the Meadows Racetrack and Casino.
Cook has asked state Auditor General Eugene DePasquale for an audit of the LSA process in Washington County. His concerns include what he believes to be a lack of transparency.
