Heading into this season, Cedarbrook head coach Dennis Stitch knew he had a standout forward in Baileigh Bishop that he could rely on to lead the way for his team.
The 5-10 Connellsville senior, who was selected second overall by Stitch in last year’s Grebb League girls division draft, provides plenty of size in the post and has an uncanny ability to score the basketball.
Add Ringgold senior guard Nya Adams, the second overall pick in this year’s draft, to the mix and Cedarbrook now has itself a nice 1-2 scoring punch.
Bishop and Adams made their presence felt against Edward Jones on Monday, combining for 32 points in a 55-35 victory for Cedarbrook at the Mechanic Street Playground in California.
