PennDOT Secretary Leslie Richards said one of the department’s priorities is to reduce impaired driving.

“Though Independence Day is a time for celebration, we urge Pennsylvanians to designate a sober driver and wear their seat belts throughout the coming holiday and throughout the year,” Richards said.
