There may not have been a better bounce-back story this softball season than the story of the Elizabeth Forward Warriors.

After a disappointing loss last season in the WPIAL championship game, the Warriors returned this season to not only win the program’s first WPIAL title but also advanced to play for a state championship.

The possibility remains for another bounce-back season, this time to claim a PIAA championship.

Anyone that’s been paying attention to local high school softball knows it’s definitely in the cards as the Warriors will be among the favorites to return to Penn State and battle for state supremacy.
