The 2019 Grebb League boys season started the same way as it ended last year.
With Campy’s Pizza beating Farmers Insurance.
The two-time defending champions extended their winning streak to 25 games with an 87-66 win in the marquee game of the boys division’s opening night on Tuesday.
Campy’s (1-0) used a 35-8 run spanning nine minutes of the first half to make its lead insurmountable.
“Our team defense was really good tonight,” Campy’s coach Naz Victoria said. “They were rotating well without being told what to do. They know what it takes to play good team defense.”
