The Cal U women’s basketball team made quite a run last season, making it to the Atlantic Regional championship where they came up short against IUP, 68-60.
The team struggled from beyond the 3-point line, making only 1 of 13 shots. Cal only shot 28.5% from three for the whole season.
Now the Vulcans have a shooter.
Former Wheeling Jesuit guard Monica “Mo” Burns has been granted an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA and will be bringing her talents to the Vulcans this season as a graduate student.
