‘Reader theater’ production to aid McKeesport Little Theater

A unique show is being staged at the McKeesport Little Theater this week, and it isn’t costing the theater a dime to put it on for audiences.

“Love, Loss and What I Wore” by sisters Nora and Delia Ephron is based on the book with the same title by Ilene Beckerman. It will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the theater, located at 1614 Coursin St., McKeesport.

The board of the Mc-Keesport Little Theater, a nonprofit organization, is referring to the “reader theater” show as a benefit production.

That’s because its producer, Linda Baker, who is a former MLT board member, decided she “wanted to do something nice that would benefit the theater financially.”
