Lloyda Kostolansky – The Mon Valley

Lloyda Kostolansky, 94, of the Mon Valley, Thursday, June 20, 2019, in UPMC Mercy Hospital Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Victor and Brunetta Lazzari Mencarelli. Besides he parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kostolansky, in 2003; two brothers, Evo and Delford; a sister, Eva Simone; and a son-in-law, Mel Povich, in 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Povich of Washington, Pa.; nephew and godchild, Gary Simone and his wife Terrie; and her sister-in-law, Ann Kostolansky Biagini and daughters of Kentucky; niece, Terri Mencarelli and Rick Black of North Carolina; niece, Renel and nephew, Ron Mencarelli, of South Carolina. Remember her as she was. A thank you to Spiritual Care for guidance and prayers and a special thank you to her long-time physician, Dr. Andrew H.
