George S. Spisak – Stockdale

George S. Spisak, 78, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2019. He leaves his loving wife and best friend of 54 years, Jean “Jeannie” Spisak; son, Steve Spisak; daughter, Dianne Spisak; two grandchildren, Nick and Julie Gaetano; sister, Joyce; sister Rose Wilkinson (Harry); nephew, Mike Wilkinson; niece, Kathy English (Brian); sister-in-law, Stella M. Kroskie; brother-in-law, Kent Miller; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many close friends. Born in North Charleroi, the son of George and Elizabeth Sapko Spisak, he was a lifelong resident of Stockdale. George was employed by Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and retired after 46 years of employment. A member of California Gun Club, Roscoe Sportsman Club, Roscoe Slovak Club, Roscoe American Legion, Allenport Rod and Gun Club, Belle Vernon Russian Club and Belle Vernon Moose. He had a passion for cars and riding his Harley with his wife. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, George Spisak. George was a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, great-uncle and friends to many. He will be deeply missed by all and remain in the hearts of everyone that knew him. Services were private.
