A day full of expectations and excitement turned into temporary disappointment for Frazier’s softball team.

The PIAA Class 2A championship game was originally scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday before it was announced Wednesday that it would be moved back a few hours to 4:30 p.m.

As the Commodores hit the road, they made it as far as Bedford on the turnpike before getting the news the PIAA had moved their game to 6:30 p.m. today.

“We were all really excited since this day was finally here, and then we found out that it had been postponed,” Commodores junior Emi Curcio said. “It was a little sad since we were so excited to get to play.

“We did know that the forecast didn’t look good, so we knew that there was a possibility that we wouldn’t play (Thursday).
