Alleged shooter charged with drug violations in Charleroi

A Clairton man charged in the shooting of a woman in Jefferson Hills last month is now accused of drug law violations by Charleroi Regional Police.
Andrew Roberts, 26, was found at a house in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue in Charleroi May 21. He had been wanted by police in connection to an incident May 19 in a mobile home community on Stilley Street in Jefferson Hills where a 21-year-old woman was shot in the shoulder.
The woman, who was not identified, was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
According to Charleroi police, Roberts had $1,185 and 7.2 grams of marijuana on him when he was arrested.
