Karen Louise Roberts – West Newton

Karen Louise Roberts, 59, of West Newton, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Born in New Eagle, on Aug. 6, 1959. She was the daughter of the late Norval and Dorothy Shawley Boyd. Karen was a fun-loving person who had a laugh that was unique and memorable to all who knew her. A homemaker, she was active in the local women’s billiards league before she became too ill to compete. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends and she will be in our thoughts, prayers and hearts forever. We will truly miss you, Karen! She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Kenny Roberts; daughter, Karlie Rose Roberts of West Newton; stepsons, Justin Roberts of Perryopolis and Jason Roberts of Charlotte, N.C.; stepdaughter, Melissa Gerlachovsky of Perryopolis; brothers, Walter Boyd of Sutersville and Norval Boyd Jr. of Jacobs Creek; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Boyd; and sister, Dorothy “Dottie” Forsyth. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com. Following visitation, a funeral service will be held at 8 p.m.
