Thomas G. Semich, 69, of Monessen, died on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in New Eagle on Dec. 22, 1949, he was the son of the late Mitchell A. and Sophie Skrabalak Semich. Tom was a draftsman for U.S. Steel Corporation – Edgar Tompson Plant and a chef. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, the Hilltop Fireman’s Club, Eagles and the Ukrainian Club, all of Monessen. He is survived by his son, Brett T. Semich of Monessen; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert Semich of Moon Township and David and Mary Semich of Mt. Lebanon; and two nieces, Emily Eaton and Holly Forte. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME, Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen, www.billicksfuneralhome.com. A blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church. Interment will follow in St. Hyacinth Cemetery.
