Charges filed after Donora car chase

A Donora man has been charged following a police chase in the borough Saturday.

Marquis A. Carlock, 32, of Waddell Avenue is charged with aggravated assault, flight to avoid apprehension simple assault, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, recklessly endangering another person, driving with a suspended license, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, reckless driving and other traffic violations. 

Donora police were notified of a vehicle chase involving two Monongahela City police cars and a dark purple Ford Expedition headed toward Donora on state Route 837 around 5 p.m.

Two Donora officers and two Charleroi Regional police who were clearing a call at Highland Terrace drove toward Palmer Park when they were told the vehicle turned onto 14th Street and then Fayette Avenue, an affidavit of probable cause states.
